Here is another option. I’ve purchased parts kits from them before. It’s a lot cheaper than buying a “parts gun” and no FFL transfer fees or hassles. It looks like they have one Automag II kit in stock.

That's a good resource as well and looks like the sight is correct as well. I'll see if I can contact them and confirm. Thanks for the lead!

TylerS, did you ever find a rear sight?  Was Jason able to hook you up?

I just unburied my "stash".  These are all the same.  With that said, these are not the same as the one posted on IntraArms website, or the one on eBay (mentioned in an earlier posts).

If you think one of these will work, let me know.

If you were happy and you knew it, would you clap your hands?

Nice collection, thanks for looking for me. Yes, Jason was able to hook me up and a rear sight is on its way to me. I will update the thread with pics once I have it installed

Well, unfortunately the "longhorn" style sight is not fully compatible with my pistol. The dimensions are correct and the sight physically fits in place, but the main screw that threads into the slide is not compatible. The threads don't match, that's the issue. And I can't just swap the screws because the detent is a different design.

I don't understand why they made the rear sight specifically incompatible between the 3 3/8" pistol and the other two AM2 models, but oh well.

For now, I'll keep shopping for a replacement or a parts pistol. I emailed Kensight to get some more detailed images of one of their Elliason sight, we'll see what happens there.

Shout out to Jason, he did send me a replacement sight with all the necessary parts. Just didn't work out

Just to put a bow on this thread, I ended up using the replacement sight that Jason sold me. I had to reuse the original center screw since its the only one available to me that matched the threads on the slide. I had to modify the screw by grinding down the circumference of it's head so it would be small enough to sit down inside the replacement sight. It's not exactly pretty, but it gives me a usable sight. I also have the matching front sight that could be installed, but I dont plan to buy a dual crimp tool any time soon.

I'll probably end up selling this pistol if anyone is interested, but im glad the rear sight adventure was a qualified success.
