It does have a serial number BUT I never expose them in photos, so yes it was "photoshop" off, along with the markings but that was all that was done to pic, no other edits. I try not to ruin the pics by just "black blocking" them out, only takes a few extra minutes v black blocks.
I know what it is but wanted to see if anybody else can get it right. So guess away No, this is not a "Bryant custom", as he stated but I'm sure he could make one though. Good guess but no cigar. In a week I'll show everything if nobody gets it by then.

It appears to be a Lightning Bullseye Target model. 6-1/2" Bull bbl., made in Covina. Would love to know production numbers. I have #109, but Harry seldom went in order w/ serials.

We have a WINNER!
Yeah, I only have seen 2 EVER! So yours will make it 3(if you show it), lol. I wonder if they were made in the same serial number line up as a reg. lightning, then they just added the bells to it down the line. I have been collecting for many years and only seeing 2 makes it a rare bird for sure. It uses the same frame as lightning, it's a bull barrel version of the lightning at 6.5", it has the extra feature of the full length wide barrel rib with the 10 line groove(looks like the same used on that BAM XP model), exchangable front site via spring/pin access from the front, it comes with 2 other front sites as well as the one installed, has a dovetailed in rear adjustable site. I never shot it so can't say how it shoots. Any others out there? Don't feel shy here.

Unfortunately my gun resides in the bowels of my safe. Not even sure which shelf. All I have is the pic in my records book that isn't very clear as it is and won't show well, but here ya go.
Never shot it, either, so no help there, and cant remember if it came with the extras you mentioned. I am sure I've not seen one for sale anywhere, and this one came from a print ad in Gun Digest 7 or so years ago. |
