It does have a serial number BUT I never expose them in photos, so yes it was "photoshop" off, along with the markings but that was all that was done to pic, no other edits. I try not to ruin the pics by just "black blocking" them out, only takes a few extra minutes v black blocks. I know what it is but wanted to see if anybody else can get it right. So guess away
No, this is not a "Bryant custom", as he stated but I'm sure he could make one though. Good guess but no cigar. In a week I'll show everything if nobody gets it by then.

It appears to be a Lightning Bullseye Target model. 6-1/2" Bull bbl., made in Covina. Would love to know production numbers. I have #109, but Harry seldom went in order w/ serials.

We have a WINNER! Yeah, I only have seen 2 EVER! So yours will make it 3(if you show it), lol. I wonder if they were made in the same serial number line up as a reg. lightning, then they just added the bells to it down the line. I have been collecting for many years and only seeing 2 makes it a rare bird for sure. It uses the same frame as lightning, it's a bull barrel version of the lightning at 6.5", it has the extra feature of the full length wide barrel rib with the 10 line groove(looks like the same used on that BAM XP model), exchangable front site via spring/pin access from the front, it comes with 2 other front sites as well as the one installed, has a dovetailed in rear adjustable site. I never shot it so can't say how it shoots. Any others out there? Don't feel shy here.

Unfortunately my gun resides in the bowels of my safe. Not even sure which shelf. All I have is the pic in my records book that isn't very clear as it is and won't show well, but here ya go. Never shot it, either, so no help there, and cant remember if it came with the extras you mentioned. I am sure I've not seen one for sale anywhere, and this one came from a print ad in Gun Digest 7 or so years ago.

I have only seen 3 of them EVER in 20yrs! If you ever find one, you would be lucky so buy it. It is a beauty! So is the Baby Automag, as I have 3 of them and have shot one of them last year to clear out the "ground squirrel" flock that had got so big since my cat left. Took 36 and had so much fun and it was soooooo easy with the Baby as it shot right to aim. I'm no hunter but it made me look good!

I was thinking these serial numbers MIGHT have been shared with the "Lightning" Pistols linage NOT the Baby Automags as the Babys used "BAM" prefix serial numbers. I have not followed up on this yet, been too busy but will keep watching public serial numbers out there to compare against the ones I know are Bulleyes. It a long shot this way but all I can do at this time. The highest "bulleyes" serial number I seen was 0250ish. They are like a mini Baby, not quite the same front/rear site set up though.

The auction that you found was for a $1050 Plus buyers fee($199.50 AND app.Fees(?)-Taxes. That was also 3yrs ago(May 23 2013). The firearm looks in great shape, box not bad But it doesn't mention the other 2 different front site inserts for it(maybe lost). It still was a good buy for such a rare AMT item/model.
There was another auction back in 2009 that sold for $403 but no box or extra fronts site and the grips were replaced with Ruger Black composite grips.
So now I have seen 5 total of this model, lol

I have read on a post that they said this model was made
only for one year in ’86. So one year of production and I'm sure they didn't make
them everyday that year, they are going to rare. Maybe AMT made them as
requested as the serial numbers I have seen has not had two in a row yet. They
share everything with the Lightning 6.5” bull barrel model, the instruction
manual and box were the same, only the additional work of the barrel rib setup
and front site inserts. I would think they shared the "lightning"
serial number linage as it wouldn't be hard to "make up" a bulleyes
model as an order was put in for one. Also knowing they were pushing these as
"Target" pistols, that would mean a little extra cost to it and
unless you’re into "target shooting" who would pay extra? I would
have brought one knowing the extra look was there but I always collected different
models of the same brand that I liked. Gunshops wouldn't want to
"stock" a lot of them if any, depends on how the AMT line sells at
their location, I’m sure it was a more costly pistol compared to the normal lightning.
The difference between them according to the flyer is
Target Lightning
Elegant wood grips Pachmayr wrap-around rubber grips OR Wayland wood grips
Clarke fine pull trigger Clarke trigger
Ventilated matte rib No rib
Millets sights (rear) Millet
sights (rear)
Front site inserts
(quick change style) Fixed front
site (screwed down on barrel)
So what is the difference
between
Elegant wood grips and the Wayland wood grips?
Clarke FINE PULL Trigger and Clarke trigger?
And the other stuff is
easy to spot.

I have seen these at gun shows over they years and always been interested, but the prices were always too high.
And from what I have seen they don't sell, very few people even seem interested and when they see the price they drop them and walk away.
Don't think they made many, and I could be seeing the same 3 guns in my area changing hands between dealers is swaps and the same guns never selling to actual customers.
AMT guns are not well liked in the northeast, don't know why, just not popular.
For a right price I think they are an interesting catch, but not for big money, just wait for another BAM to come along, they turn up often enough you just need to wait.

Don't pass on one because of my preference.
As for the BAM's, yes they have been very pricey recently, but every once in a while there is a bargain to be had, you just need to wait and have ready cash when they are available.

Nova, Sounds like you really like the RARE stuff AMT made. They made a lot of different models, pistols as well as rifles. The more rare stuff is the more it will cost as collectors have made this brand jump, twenty years ago most things were under $1000 easy, now it's hard to find more less buy the rare stuff. I pulled a FEW pictures of some of the rare stuff that I seen, enjoy

I think these were interesting when they were selling for a lot less, but not sure I would spend the price they are currently selling for unless you really loved the look.
And if you do, they enjoy!

I cannot disagree with anything you have said, but I think we kick the term "collector" around a lot and use it very loosely.
Serious collectors laugh when you try to discuss Auto Mags with them, or have never heard of them.
But the same was true of GM/Ford/Chrysler cars a few years ago and look whats going on in big car auctions these days, so who knows Auto Mags and AMT guns may some day end up in the big auction houses.
But for now I still think they are not safe investments for would-be collectors. Buy them because you like them, not for a investment or other reasons, and simply be happy you got what you wanted and don't worry about value over a short period of time (zero to ten years in your collection) otherwise be prepared to take a loss if you need to sell quickly to raise money for any reason.
Only time will tell,,,
