I think it’s extremely unrealistic to be an Auto Mag owner and not handload. The only alternative would be to buy a dump truck full of SBR ammo on those occasions where it’s available?

Weren't the first 25 held for heavy investors and "special" people who helped (re)make it along the way?  And they only made a total of 77 Founder's Editions?

Wasn't FE-01 (or FE-02?) presented to Clint Eastwood himself?

Aside from the special requested serial numbers, if this is FE-08 it was still presented very early.

I'm watching to see what it ends up going for.
If you were happy and you knew it, would you clap your hands?

I just wanted to chime in, I finally got my new AM. 8 1/2" high polish, display case etc. Right out of the box, 3 strings of 5 rounds no failures of any kind. Everything works as it should. I am really impressed with build quality and feel they have made a good product. I can't load any pics, for some reason my photos are not uploading. It is very tight but should smooth out with use. I shot some Sierra 240gr JHP with 23gr of W296. Very pleased!

Very Nice!  Glad to hear it worked great.  Thanks for the load that worked too.  I have a few different loads worked up as different Automags like different loads.  Maybe it will be different with the new ones with CNC.

I'm a bit further down the list, but I should check.

Just curious, Has anybody recently received their order from the new AM company?  Is production still happening right now?

I've been working on a cast bullet load for my Loris, SC 44 AMP.  The Saeco #431 works really well!  My gun needs full power loads for bolt lock so reduce the powder charge if your gun works with lighter loads.  Will post chronograph results when weather permits.

Bullet:  Matt’s Bullets Saeco #431 (.430 255 Gr. Flat Nose Gas Check)
Powder:  Hodgdon H-110 23.6 grs.
Primer:  Federal 155
Case:  Starline
OAL:  1.600

Tested the lead bullet load at 30 feet.

First five shots (offhand)

And then another five...  No leading at all!
