SHOT Show in Orlando in Jan 09

   The SHOT Show will be in Orlando,FL in January of 09. I looked at their webswite and I am a bit confused. Is this a show for FFL people only or is there a general admission?
Alot of Automag guys in FL, could be a meeting?

	I thought you had to be in the biz to get in. Can anyone shed some light?

	The Shot Show is a trade show and is not usually open to the general public. I believe that you have to be affiliated with vendor in the firearms industry to attend.
	"This is the 44 Magnum Auto Mag and holds a 300 grain cartridge and if properly used it can remove the fingerprints"!!!

	That is correct. The general public can not get in. Have to be in the business and have a pass. Mostly for venders trying to place orders for new items. not much of a chance for the general gun lover to get in, unless he has someone with connections.

	I went to the shot show in Vegas a few years ago. When I pre registered my pawn shop friend let me send in a copy of his ffl. I then became is rep. The shot show is so cool I would sneek in the back door, lie, have fake papers, risk going to jail whatever it took to get in.

	I went to the 08 shot show as LE ... and the venders couldn't give a S--t about any one who isn't signing orders.... other wise if you just want to look around it was ok just information over load... any one in the trades can go, Talon

	What all's been said is my understanding too. I have friends who own sporting goods stores and they used to tell me about it. I think they went together to it even though competitors. Speaking of events, did anybody make it to Tulsa? And is anyone here going to the NRA convention in Louisville? I believe in May?
