Here is B00098 and it is shown with what Harry had envisioned the "B" series to be.

Grossman made less that 10, and probably only 6, of the 10 1/2" Bull Silhouette barrels and Harry told him to stop as the cost was too high to sell.  They also would be available with a standard 6 1/2" VR barrel and an 8 1/2" VR 357 barrel.  I bought this set from a gunshop in El Monte and a gentleman came in with all these pieces for sale.  That is all I know about it.  It looks unfired.

This picture shows the profile of the Silhouette compared to the VR one.

This is an example of how all the barrels are marked.  The model, either 280 or 260, and the TDE and OMC>

That's beautiful. Hey BEEMER did you see that Pasadena Auto Mag on Gunbroker with the serial numbers all over it? That isn't correct to the gun according to my list.

I guess I did not see it.  Is it still on there?

I have several that are marked that way, used to bring a little more money.

I looked the Pasadena up and that is not factory I'm pretty sure.  It looks like it was done with a laser engraver.

Here is how the uppers were factory marked.

Beemer,

In your original post, could this be 1 of the 6, 10 1/2" Bull Silhouette barrels?

John  -  Yes that is one of the 10 1/2" Silhouette barrels.  It looks like it was kept underground for safe keeping.

I wonder what kind of shape the bore is in.

I do not remember who told me that there were only six made but Bert Mason quotes Grossman in his book that he remembers that there were less than 10 made.
