Pete,

What caliber?

I mean they were all standard barrels, and came on "C" or "LAST" frames I believe, but there were a lot of extras.

I have a 10.5" in 45 Win Mag.  Shoots great.

Jason, how do your cases hold up?  I had  case separation with that cal.  Just blew right off.

Not that I have shot mine a lot, but no trouble, other than the Win 230 gr FMJ's wouldn't cycle the action.

The Winchester Super X 260 gr worked great, they now only load the Supreme, I'd rather have the Super X in the Silver Box.  Hope they do a run again sometime.

It is a 44 Caliber. I just was wondering why they changed barrels, probably out of stock on the original vent rib.

If you wanted a longer barrel, one could only get an 8 1/2 or 10 1/2 inch NON vent rib barrel..

Rick,

Most, if not all, AMC marked barrels I have seen have been 8.5 or 10.5 NON Vent Rib.

What do the markings on the bbl say ? Looks like a lot of after market work ?

It is a TDE/OMC, and there is some aftermarket work done to it.  The hammer and trigger are jeweled, the frame is polished but not the barrels, there are aftermarket grips which I have never seen elsewhere, and one of the Mags has for lack of a better description a finger rest.
