WOW, is this legit???
Anyone from that area that can check on it?
Not sure what to make of this as I don't think I've ever seen a posting like this before, and it doesnt look like a hoax or hacking.
If this is serious, Laura you should just leave the guns with a well established gun shop in your area on consignment or sell them to the shop for whatever they will give you for them. You clearly have much more important matters to deal with.
If true, very sad, awful,,,,

If this turns out to be confirmed by Ian, maybe someone can help Laura, or give her
advice, on selling the guns and stuff, so she doesn't get short-changed
by some unscrupulous gun dealer who might try to lowball her on his AMP
or whatever else he had? Just a thought (I'm in another country, so I
can't do much here). Maybe get an inventory from her, and give her
decent ballpark figures on what she should expect to get for the stuff.
I never knew him, but tragic just the same, what a shame.

Mark, I see you are new to the forum, are you a gun guy? Will you be able to help his fiance? Let her know to expect about 55% to 65% of retail for the guns from a dealer (a bit better for some collectable ones). But she will get cash fairly quickly that way.

Yea, I am a gun guy too. I have about good pile of them and I've been shooting since I was 7. Unfortunately, I am not close geographically but I am helping the family with advice about the value of his collection.

I just got done talking to Laura, and she said all the guns are gone. She sold them the the people he delt with, and is happy with the price she got. I will be talking to her on Sunday and get an idea on what she has for reloading & help her with that.

I just got back from Birmingham picking up all of Ian's reloading/melting equipment. I will be listing them on this sight for the next few weeks as Laura wanted everyone on the sight to have the first chance to get any of the item's as she said it would have been what Ian wanted. If anyone is interested in a lead melting pot & lead molds & lead please shoot me a PM & let me know you are interested. It will take me awhile to take inventory of everything but I know there is the pot numerous molds and some lead.
