This is one a made up using a 6 1/2 inch barrel, I wanted a Backpacker without the $10k plus price tag.Sure wish I could have done the round butt too but after talking with Lee about it its more work than I wanted to tackle. Second pic is the same gun after I polished and carved the skull and flames on the barrel. If you were on the old forum/list you might have seen some of these already.

Iam having some trouble with the pics and spacing.....Below is some other AMT stuff I have including a pretty rare 10 inch AMT barrel on a Ruger Mark I frame.A lightly modded Lonslide I have since sold. A Commander sized Skipper that I did a Meltdown on with some custom parts, and a Hardballer.Looks like the Skipper pic did not make it....How about a pic of an unfired frame on the last AM I bought , no peening, slight mark from opening bolt by hand...It doesnt look like this anymore though...:~) My 8 1/2 inch Magnaported AM.Iam also into old vintage S&W revolvers, here is the largest and smallest pre war Hand Ejector guns made, a 1913 Target model .44 Triplelock and the original Ladysmith in .22 Long. Also have to throw in a pic of the daily driver/weekend road racer:~) American Made!

Nice pictures. I paid close attention to the unfired frame well. Not only does it have no peening marks it appears to have spider webs from the factory.

Don't get the Vette thing (nice though) I'm a car guy 454 Chevelle Convt. and others including a Vette and Fly Helicopters (real ones) but I thought this was an Auto-Mag forum? I guess its a nice change! So enough about me, I am looking for some ammo NORMA and clips as well, so anyone keep me posted all, and please be real on price.
Thanks.. |
