.44 AMP is not a CIP cartridge and never was. .357 AMP is. There was many gun proofed in Europe in the 70's in .44AMP, but it is not possible anymore without gauges.

Thanks for the update, the rules must have changed in the last couple of Years. My appologies for the confusion. I was pretty sure I had a box of NORMA ammunition in 44 AUTO MAG with the CIP stamp on it from Liege (years ago) I'll try to find a picture if I can get my old computer running again...) |
