Hi, I'm new to this forum. I looked on this forum, and elsewhere on the web/net (probably missed) but could not find some good reliability recommendations on specific Care & Feeding for my AMT .45 Back-Up's. I've got a few of 'em, and have problems with FTE (failures to extract) with 2. I've seen a lot of suggestions to correct FTF (failures to feed), but little on the web for the FTE. Any thoughts, previous experience, or recommendations would be appreciated. Though I know many folks dis-like them... I'm one of those folks who loves my AMT Back-Up's.

Here is a forum that has some info on it. Seems there are either good ones or bad ones that need to be worked on to be made reliable. High Standard is also selling the .45 Backup as a "new" gun. Word on that forum is they're left over parts from the Galena days.
Also, if you look into they're offerings, you'll find they also are "producing" the Automag II as well. Big bucks though...
