I would say it is nothing special besides that the frame has a nice looking polish job. Kind of surprised they missed on the caliber as Bryant Ridge normally does a pretty good job on their listing. Far as the desirable and rare, that is just marketing. Almost every AMT they list says rare or discontinued model. I swear that all they have to do is throw the word "rare" on their listing and the gun will bring at least couple hundred more. Guess it works on some people.
