That was a good one Gerry!!!! I did come across an Auto Mag today with an 8.5" vent rib barrel for $1000.00 but passed on it as it was a left hand pistol!!!!Big%20smile
"This is the 44 Magnum Auto Mag and holds a 300 grain cartridge and if properly used it can remove the fingerprints"!!!

At least you saw some humor in it. I have a year to work on the next one.

Yeah John,

Same here, found a mint in box Randall 1911 Left Hand, but since I'm right handed, I passed, didn't want to waste $150.

Same guy had a Jurras International, wanted $550 for it, but it was missing the magazine.

Gerry, to develop this properly we need to know if you recommend Pyrodex, Goex FF or Triple F for the AutoMag.

Cowboy garb might be an idea too when shooting your black powder AM.

Seriously, how do y'all find these guns? I can't seem to find one in either RH or LH. I even posted a WTB ad on the club bulletin board...

I always did go for those left handed AMs. But kind of awkward to shoot if you're right handed, don't you think? Seems I remember hearing the factory records on them were a little sketchy.

BTW I got the pictures all figured out. That's really just both sides of the rarest AMs ever - the ones with the optional no ejection port.

Ginsaw
I was going to make up an elaborate story of testing BP loads in the AMP but I was worried that some a+++++e would take it serious. You never know anymore.
Next month, my son and I are going to set up my new chronograph and laptop to do some work on my pet 357 and 44 AMP loads. Should be fun. As always, I will post here.

BTW, I do shoot some BPC in my Navy Arms 45/70 Rolling Block Creedmore. Launching an ounce of lead or more at a target 200 yards away is a splendid summer afternoon.
