OK, here is the answer for the question in message board.
I have mirror polished four or five frames in the past and this is one of them. It's basically a labor of love, you keep filing and polishing by hand for 30 to 40 hours until it shines like mirror. No drimel nor rotating buff is used as they destroy the edge and detail of the gun.
In this particular frame, it was messed by previous owner who tried to polish it by himself, gave up at the middle of the way, and put entire gun under rotating buff to cover up the mess. So I had to redo everything from the start to bring up edges, make surface back to flat, and polish over to the mirror.
I believe factory once offered mirror polishing as an option, but not sure how many they actually did. The Harry Sanford Commemorative Gun supposed to be fully polished according to the brochure and its photo. However, actual guns (all of them, most of them, or some of them, I really don't know) were delivered with partially polished stage. Look at the picture of Commemorative Gun offered for sale here. Only the front and the back of the frame was polished and the side remains unpolished. You can tell how time consuming polishing job is from that.

Thanks John for your kind words. I finished this frame as one of my shooters, but now I'm thinking of upgrading my welding machine to TIG to expand my ability. Will see if this sells or not.
Personally I think this is a bargain price since polishing work in this level alone costs at lest $500 today.
