Okay, thanks to everyone for their inputs. For now I’ve decided “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. I came home from my trip yesterday and these were waiting at my front porch:

Perhaps I will revisit this in the future, but for now I’m clearly committed to staying the course.

Thanks again!

Well, with components difficult to come by, I figured if they had a lot I should get a lot.

I try to fire at least 100 rounds of 357 and 44 AMP each month, so that will barely get me through a year.

Wish I was there to help you go through them, then you could help me go through mine :-)  That would truly be a great day.
When you are up to your neck in alligators it is hard to remember your original intention was to drain the swamp

Indeed!

I spend time in Dallas periodically and will likely have to come out there in December or January. It would be fun to get together? I wouldn’t be able to bring mine with me unfortunately....

Mike, that is a plentiful bounty you got there.  I am still on the waiting list however while waiting loaded a 100 rounds of starline with 23gr of 296 and cci 350's for the maiden voyage....  aka honeymoon. lol

My point here is I have used 44 XTP almost exclusive in my Model 29 and Virginian Dragoon.  Never had an issue (or more that 200 on the shelf) and hope to share one day soon my adventures.

Thanks for Sharing, Tim
