All I have to say is 5 words...Patrick Henry Is THE Man!!!

Founder's Edition paid for and ordered. It'll compliment the ole original North Hollywood nicely. I guess I'm in The FE Club now.

Thank you so much buddy!!!

Cant say that here, else the trolls will get ya. Angry

I agree  it looks good but for that rib and screw on barrel.  They just dont look right to my eye.  If I wanted a shooter guess I could live with it and save an original for a safe queen.

I suspect that it also works now that they got rid of all that extra stuff to make it a double locking doohicky.  Never had a problem with a regular auto mag so I guess Im happier to just see it be a normal bolt.

Hope they get em out to gun shops or big distributors at some point. Or maybe a road show where they send a rep to some local gun shows with a sample.  Aint one of you guys a sales rep for some other gun company?  How do they get the new models out for the public to see em?

Would be interesting to also see them start sellin accessories like holsters and grips and mag loading tools and such.  -Joe

Ya know, Joe, I have been thinking and thinking about this....and someone here made a commentabout the current gun looking very similar to the 1970 prototype.

So, I found a pic of the OEM proto-gun in Bruce's book on page 6.

Here is a copy of it on the cover of Guns and ammo, 1970, March:

What if they took the barrel abutment at the receiver of the 1970 gun and combined it with the rib and front sight of the current model?

I think that would look darn good.  In fact...it think it would be pretty close to gorgeous.  Maybe even as pretty as me...and I am a pretty man!!!!!!  So pretty!!!

You young fellas got it all wrong, its my leather skin that makes me beautiful.

Countless years in the hot sun and then all the homemade lye soap grandma made from rabbit tallow, yup thats what makes a beautiful face like mine.

Maybe some day I'll share some of grandpas cooking with gunpowder recipes.

Corse I never much bought into the idea of feeding gunpowder to the dogs to make them more ornery when guarding the house, its kinda a redneck thing if you ask me.

Thats probably too much for your tender ears. -Joe
