Reread the sellers ad.

This gun is in California and it says it is for sale to private parties in California.

I have friends in California who have been buying and selling AuroMags there with out any problems, I think you just need to make sure its already in state.

California. Where weed is legal and guns are, pretty much, illegal.
Ronald Reagan would be rolling over in his grave if he knew the sad state of his former home state.

I have a lady-friend in Cali who's a gun-person and she recently retired a few years ago. She's finally gotten so sick of the gun-laws there that she's selling up and looking for a house with land in Ohio, etc - she just wants to be able to own and shoot firearms like regular folks. Quite a commitment.

I've not been there yet, but she's sent me photos of various properties she's looking at - all I can say is I think I'm living in the wrong state! Holy cow! Shocked

Midwest is the best. Low taxes, nice deer hunting, good prices on real estate. Never been to California, not looking to visit. Read in the news today that there is a court fight over the zoning of gun shops. No if it was over an abortion clinic, porn shop, pot shop or something else, it would be fine.
Here, we mind our own business.

North Idaho is extremely gun friendly, in fact, the local car dealers give away a hunting rifle with the purchase of a car. Deer, they are like rats up here. It's not uncommon that I have at least 10 deer outside my dining room window on a daily basis. Winters are very mild here. Not like the Midwest. I have never seen 0°. Last week I was in Wisconsin and it never got warmer than -5. Just Saying.....

Been thinking about Idaho. Anybody else on this board bidding on that AutoMag on Gunbroker? I don't want to bid on it if someone here wants it. I wouldn't mind having one until I can get out of CA and get me a NEW good one from Patrick.

That North Hollywood looks nice. The frame needs to be restored, due to the slight pitting. If the price stays low enough,
you should pursue it
