Thinking of our many departed friends who participated prolifically
here over the years and those who would have but were gone before the advent of
the web blog.
In no particular order, those who I had personal
interaction:
My very good friend Bob Gideon who was a true American hero!
Genuinely representative of the greatest generation. To know Bob was a gift.
Kent Lomont, such a talented person, and one who lived life on his terms.
Jim Herringshaw, always an interesting fellow to say the
least, and very talented.
Our beloved Yoshi, a sweet and genuine and humble man.
Gerry Piech, who was one of our cornerstones, always a
gentlemen and a loyal friend.
Spencer Hamilton, a super nice guy who left us way too
soon. My heart holds a special place for
Spencer.
Lee Jurras, well what can I say, Lee was a most unique
person and gave us all so much. Truly a
legend in his own time. He was like the
Indiana Jones of hunting/shooting world. I am honored to have known him.
And Mr Harry Sanford the person responsible for us all being
here. No one suffered more than Harry
making this icon of a gun become a reality. If not for his persistence, there
would be no Auto Mag and we would not be here together. Thank You Harry Sanford!
So many more, RIP to all.
