Does anybody that got a barrel from Brians' first run ever use their barrels? If so, what has been your experience? Does it work well? How many rounds do you have through it?

I know it looks crude but this is what is required to get Brian's barrels to work.  William is correct about a cut that was missed, but I found it easier to modify the accelerator.  I shot my barrel last summer and it worked just fine.  Bruce

I shot mine a little over a week ago and it did cycle, I checked the accelerator last night and it does not seem to move as much as the original barrel, but maybe moves enough? How do I take the accelerator out if I need to? Do I have to take the block pin out?

I like to drift the accelerator pin out from left to right.  I move the pin back just far enough to clear the accelerator block so it can be removed.  Longer barrels develop more velocity and don't rely on the accelerator as much as shorter barrels.  There have been many discussions about eliminating the accelerator on longer barreled guns that function ok without it.
Without the accelerator, chamber gasses will escape out the hole left in the barrel assembly by not having the accelerator assembly to block the gasses.   Dead

I did notch my accelerator last night pretty much like the one in the picture and am pleased to report that this works for the Maynard Barrels. My barrel shot well last night and my gun went through several 5 round magazines without issue. Thank you for the info!!Clap
