Congrats on your find Larry!!

The RIA M1911 A1 FS Tactical 2011 with the G10 VZ grips is a fantastic 1911.They are hard to come by as demand has been up lately. Production at the factory in the Philippines has increased by 50% to try to keep up with demand.

Very nice Larry! Hold on, it sounds like you're in for a bit of a ride my friend. Confused

Speaking of Gun Shows, talked with my BIL this eve, he went to Indy 500 GS and said a Class3 dealer from South Bend had 7 AM's 3,357's and 4 44's, he didn't mention the prices. So some still show up.  Cheers   Tongue

Sure hope your property does not get damaged.

How do you go about placing your gunsafe out of harms way from water damage -- if possible?

How high off the floor?   Best strategic placement in house/garage from water leakage?

Larry,

Hope you fare well.  We are getting rain here in Tampa now, but looks like our biggest issue is flooding.  Glad they canceled school.  When Debbie came through, they didn't do much, and there was flooding everywhere.  But school wasn't in session.

Sounds like you are prepared, now the waiting begins.

That dealer has had those same AM's, in the same glass cases, for the same price, for the last 15 years or so!
The market prices are starting to catch up to his prices, maybe in a few years he will sell some, he is not that far off.
I have tried to bargin with him in the past, and he won't move on the prices.
