I've seen a few of these for sale over the last few years with serial number starting with AMTL-xxx. I heard one comment that Larry Grossman had something to do with these but I have not been able to confirm that story. Does any one know anything or maybe know someone that might know I would love to know the story if these are actually an AMT item.

No idea what this is,,, Definitely an odd hybrid. Looks like mostly a standard long barrel Lightning but with a modified barrel where they profiled it like a BAM and added the vent rib. Something about the bolt doesn't look right, so if its not fully forward, or the back of the barrel is machined oddly. Good Luck, its an interesting oddity.

Disappointing the seller is advertising it as a Baby Auto Mag which clearly it is not. Call it a custom built lightning, but not a BAM. Not sure if that is an intentional mislead, another person looking to make money flipping some gun or just someone who doesnt know better, but it is dishonest to call it a BAM or even an experimental BAM. |

This group sold several months back on GB. It was on auction but went buy-it-now. It was sold with a letter attributing them to Harry. That buyer then decided to sell. He came up with a story about how he had misplaced the letter but was sure he could find it once the auction closed. I had seen the letter after contacting the original seller. The letter was crap and showed no clear connection with this set and Harry. In fact the letter was just a guy telling the story, no receipt and nothing showing any legitimate connection. So the guy jumped the gun with his original buy-it-now. Apparently then he figured out he got fooled so he set out to fool someone to get it off his hands, which he did, sadly.
