Just to give you all an idea how big this storm is, this is a picture of Pensacola, beach yesterday, and we are 500 miles away from Texas.

Not Good! Wow, it looked big but that puts it in perspective.
Couple days ago here in Tampa we had some surge flooding but nothing like that. I wasn't affected though (most weren't, it was localized).

Up here in MI, we are getting the Ike leftovers. We had 3-5" of rain in the last day. The lawn is starting to look good.
Good Luck to all who are affected by this mess.

Man that is some wicked surf, talk about beach erosion. Hope it didn't last too long.

We got flooded last month. Happens on a regular base since they have build houses behind my backyard and raised their gardens two feet...
Then we got the frozen over,
and now we're covered with snow.
Only good part is, It does give me nice pictures ...
Merry Christmass to all !!!
