Does anyone know who the person is making the video?

I have talked to Tim Bell on the phone and the voice sounds like him to me.
Tim is AMP's "Head Gunsmith" I believe.

FYI: the updates that AndyC spoke of are on their revised website.
....about a week ago I noticed the new auto mag site was significantly revised. And, the ~30 day delivery time on Founders referenced. The ‘Classic’, following. Fingers crossed for an April delivery

(My emphasis above) Wow - quite a milestone to go from T&E to production. Congratulations to the AutoMag team! |

What is the URL of the revised website??? I tried to access the old URL and got the following error message... Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to automag.com. Cannot communicate securely with peer: no common encryption algorithm(s). (Error code: ssl_error_no_cypher_overlap) The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem. I can access my account, just not the 'Home' page. |

I can confirm that the site is up, the SSL-cert is valid and uses SHA256 - everything looks good at https://automag.com/
Try another browser, maybe?

I'll have to use another PC. It seems the new home page supports the SSE2 information set, which my Pentium III Tualatin-S does not. I am able to access it on my Galaxy 7 phone. Just looking for the 'Information' page now...OK, got it. Another favorite site of mine, Thriftbooks.com, also upgraded their site software and I can no longer access that either, with this PC, except by going to my S7 or a laptop with a CPU with the SSE2 information set. I'm setting that up now. |

I found the mentions of production mode/30 days in the FAQ page, 3rd question down:

Ithe new website is very slick-looking but it’s also very ‘now’-centric. All the old information showing the various developments (which were shared in the form of periodic email newsletters) is now gone. I suppose it’s good that they removed references to some of the engineering cul-de-sacs they explored (such as the coated bolts), but still, the overall content in the website is a fraction of what it once was.
Having said that, I would imagine most customers would vastly prefer a functioning gun in-hand versus a robust website and no gun!

Patrick texted me that, due to a cancellation of a FE order, he would change my order from a CE to a FE. Also, I sent an FFL from a different retailer. None of this is reflected in the current copy of my order. I hope no one gets me wrong, here. I am sticking with Patrick for the long haul and hope and pray that everything works out. I want to be an AutoMag owner. I will take whatever model I get. I prefer the FE, but will take a CE - but I will be putting it on a polishing wheel. I just hope I live long enough to hold one. It doesn't need to be perfect. Lord knows I'm not.
