Was just going to suggest to the site moderator that maybe we should be looking at creating a fresh thread? - content is getting kinda long and we don't want the thread title "The New Automag" to turn into an oxymoron.
What say the rest of you guys, or should we just continue on adding to this one?
- perhaps a new thread or category titled "Auto Mag Ltd Corp 2016" ?

I think we should just endeavor to be more disciplined and resist the temptation to post irrelevant information to this thread. If what you have to say doesn’t directly relate to the new Auto Mag, find a better place for it or better yet, start a new thread for it....

Well said, but to be fair, the majority who have been posting in this particular thread only have for the most part themselves to provide updated information and yes, sometimes speculation in regards to relevant information. More like a chat room environment. You are probably correct in the fact that the thread would be considerably smaller if the fellas acted more Vulcan like and refrained from straying off topic due to anxiety or boredom. Or off topic postings done so in hopes that a topic relevant response could be revived by another poster that has new 'insider' information. Otherwise the content in this two year long thread would be like .......
It begs the question, at what point or timeline does "The New Automag" become "The ongoing saga of The Automag"?

Hoping many of you received the same email from Auto Mag Ltd Corp as I have.
I am not posting the whole email but the most interesting part is
"We will start some operations and training next
week. We should be shipping guns this month".
Will be interesting if you all receive your Founder Editions very soon.
The email received did include pictures of; bead blaster, polish buffers, laser engraver, air tank, couple of benches.
Would like to have seen pictures of near completed guns and gun parts.

I had talked to Patrick two weeks ago and he thought at that time my FE should ship in about 30 days.
Sounds like things are starting to move again.

Sounds like nearly everything should ship in ~45 days or such.
So my dream of getting something by September might actually come true.
I am debating asking if they could drill/tap for scope rails at the factory. That would save me some time on my end. And I would be more inclined to order a 6 1/2" barrel later this fall/winter.
