Is this the LS plastic kit? I had one (grey) when I was a kid (I still have it but not in great shape). |

Yes, they are the LS models. I wish I had not built them as they are worth more unassembled in the box.
The artwork on the boxes is interesting too. On a side note; The Auto Mag logo with the view down a rifled barrel, is thought to have been inspired by the James Bond series of movies. I believe it was "Goldfinger". The Auto Mag International logo, used by the factory for foreign sales resembles the logo used by the TV show, "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." Just saying.....................Bruce

I was always a fan of the Illya Kuryakin character.
(Illya Nickovetch Kuryakin that is)
He always seemed to be the slicker, more nastier agent of the two of them, and a good fighter. At least to the kid I was watching it.
That's around when I had my 'Secret Sam' briefcase with the shoulder stock pistol and periscope and all the other tidbits inside it.
Likely sewed the seeds for my Mack Bolan and Auto Mag affliction later on.
