I had a burr on the inside of my cocking piece where the bolt rides.  It was creating frictionand wasn't smooth.  The handy little dremel, and some slow and steady hands, cleaned it up and now it's like butter.

Just my $0.02.
If you were happy and you knew it, would you clap your hands?

The same goes for your mags, soak them in a bucket of solvent and then use a loading tool or some other means to depress the follower and use an old toothbrush to scrub it out.

Then lube it with something reasonable and try again.

If that doesn't work go out and buy 5 more mags (original not the crappy aftermarket ones) and try again.

I have probably 30+ mags and for any particular Auto Mag it may take trying 3 or 4 mags to find one that fits and works well.

Sure you can tinker with them and make most of them work with enough effort, but you will also risk ruining the mag, and at ~$150 a pop, its a risk you better be ready to own.  Adjusting the follower pin installed depth, modifying the height that the mag locks into the gun, changing the spring and follower pin in the aftermarket mags, polishing the parts of the mag and so on. All have merit and all have risk of leaving with a worthless pile of metal if you are not very careful.
