Steve and Jeff
Thank you for the invite yesterday was so much fun, meeting new people and putting faces to those I have talked to, we need to do this again but hopefully it will be a cooler day, 113 was a little warm .

Also nice to meet Jeffs friends and enjoyed chatting with Bruce, A very special day.
This is what this board is all about making new friends and destroying targets all because we love these hunks of Stainless.

Forgot to mention we both saw a .44 go off out of battery, that was something to see in person, broke a bunch of parts but we had it covered other than a pair of grips, wish you got a pic of the brass, it was wild looking.

Yes that made me sick to my stomach , truly very sad & would never ever like anyone to go through that.

Out of curiosity, any info (speculation or fact) as to why it happened?  Any info would be greatly appreciated.

If you were happy and you knew it, would you clap your hands?

Information would be appreciated.

Firing out of battery has always been my biggest fear with AMP's.  With other pistols it never crosses my mind.

That’s a bottomless trove of auto mags. Friggin sad that only a few rounds would go off without problems with all those variants displayed

Hoping to see the 357AMPs. I always wanted one as ballistically it’s a hybrid , IMO . It was hard to follow the issue at the end. The first thing I thought of was a major headspace issue that had to be from with one of the 357s.

But I just read you had ignition out of battery ?! Thank goodness everyone is OK. I always thought that was folklore . It could happen but was never reported .

Golden24, where’s your new 357–the one with the ivory grips?

might have been in the Peoples Republic of Kalifornia but that still looked like a day of shooting nirvana.  I went shooting this morning, had a couple of rifles to work with plus had my kids with me (big smile since this was a granddaughter's first shooting session, considering 1 year old likely not to remember too much).  Hard to believe that we were cooler, upper 80's, than you were there, not that often we do that in Texas.  Sad to hear about troubles with these precious guns, damage to any shooters are never good news and leaves me a bit saddened.  Look for the details about what happened.
When you are up to your neck in alligators it is hard to remember your original intention was to drain the swamp
