Like the subject line says, there is one of each for sale on ebay at the moment.

Nobody is likely to form brass from 308 now that Starline brass is available. But the sets include a file trim die, which is a very useful thing to have. The 357 trim die is intended to be used to form the cases as well.

There is also a stand-alone 357 AMP trim die available from a different seller.

Just the messenger.....

Enough with the reposting of ebay and gunbroker ads.

Seems like this is some bad public service broadcast message that keeps repeating.

It dont look like they are you ads, so why repost every possible Automag ad, you are just clogging the site to see you name in print?

It feels like the people who got nothing better to do than post pictures of their lives on facebook every 5 minutes. Overload.

enough already.

George,

I looked for more than a year before I was able to find a 357 case forming die set for myself, and I think this is only the second one I have ever seen for sale. I wasn’t fortunate enough to be there when all this stuff was new and relatively common, like you were. Not everybody here has been doing this forever, and when I find something that I think somebody else might appreciate, something out of the ordinary, I will share it, as a public service, and I encourage others to do so as well.

I have no social media presence, and could care less about statistics as far as number of posts here etc.

Since you already probably have a dozen of everything, feel free not to pay attention when somebody (me or somebody else) alerts the masses about an opportunity to acquire something that others might consider rare and desirable.

I appreciate the heads up.  Finding stuff like this, to make shooting my Auto Mag more enjoyable, is fairly hard to track down by oneself.   The more eyes, and sharing information, benefits not only me, but many others too.

That is what this forum is all about.  Sharing of knowledge and information.  To help the next guy, and next generation, get up and running their Auto Mag.

Thanks Mike!
If you were happy and you knew it, would you clap your hands?

Its Joe. JOE

or should we start calling you Bruce or Bozo ;-)

As for me, dont worry about what I got or not, I got one of what I need and thats enough, not a hoarder like some here so I dont need your bad advice on anything or your reposting.

have you already forgotten the mess you caused on the last 357 barrel. Maybe you might think about that.

And if this isnt a social media, then there is no such thing, so keep watching you post numbers climb.

If you are what the future of Automag owners look like, there isnt much hope.

Least you could do is post theses nonsense reposts under the classified section so people like me who are not shopping for anything dont waste their time on it -Joe

I for one both am pleased to see 'For Your Information" posts like this.  I post them up myself when I find something rare or unique.  I too want the .357 set.  It's the only one I don't currently own, so thanks.

I sure like the looks of this North Hollywood that is on Gun Broker.

With the extras, and no surprises, it looks like a good deal.  It's real dirty inside but I would bet that this hand-fit gun, that went through Barbasiewicz's hands, would shoot (and cycle) right out of the box.

With a clean-up and an oiling with proper ammo and holding the gun still.

Cheers.....Bruce Stark

As do I. The information found here is generally good info and appreciate the admin’s running the board.

Also, I see the Automag sold on GunBroker.  I would bet good money it was due to this board and comments.
